Breezy Day Handbags is  a company conceived of by Michelle Serapiglia and Meg Gregory in January of 2008.  After attending a local craft fair, we decided that we could easily make bags that were classy, elegant and unique.  We imagined the woman carrying our handbag would be like a woman walking down the street on a breezy day, hair tossing in the wind, confident, simply elegant and in her hands would be a one of a kind handbag.  We design and knit or crazy quilt each of our bags individually and line them with the best quality cotton quilting fabrics.  Choosing buttons to fasten the purses is also a special touch, we pore over buttons at fabric stores looking for just the right one to complete the look.  Our crazy quilt purses use top quality bead store beads, silk ribbon, silk threads and other speciality threads.  Michelle has a doctorate in plant biology and is doing post doctoral work.  She has a cat , a ferret and a boyfriend.  Meg is an art teacher in an inner city school, she has a dog, three cats and a daughter.

Meg also makes hand sewn stuffed animals, Christmas Stockings, and is currently rather obsessed with Zombies.

Yeah, I am so excited. Teresa is selling a lot of cute hand made items in her store. She has scarves made by a local school teacher, soaps and lotions, and even jams and jellies.

It will be great if we can sell bags in her store.
